For those who sail in true apple store type "Navionics"

There are charts for almost all regions of the world for a very affordable price.
over the application works as a GPS plotter
and a simple touch has the screen you have access to a wealth of info
tides, lighthouses, wrecks, port access, phone of the captaincy etc. .....

Great maps. I just purchased the Med in HD. These vector maps got cheaper for PC but they are still relatively expensive compared to scanned raster maps. The iPad version is really affordable. Now I still need the Swiss lakes!

Just an addition the Swiss lake maps are actually part of the West Europe HD set. So although not very relevant for LS who do no lake regattas they are available. Idea
