Hi, all club racers

I see a lot of communications, that is good.

We like to keep it simple, as Russ already explaned.
no averaging , no referring back to former sailing results.

a fair game between club-members who sail in this race and whose time results will be added to a club result. Your personal time will be recorded in LS as normal for every race and will also count in the LS Overall Ranking. The Club results is an additional manual addition of individuals tim's >

I have send already the whole text to Olonnois for the French forum and to Anyder for the Spanish forum. I will check whether it has been included, if not I may include the english version myself with a request to translate into that forums language.

More clubs make its more interesting and I hope all clubs can bring in at least 7 boats (albeit temporary maybe)

Fair winds

Peo, What do you want to do? 1 boat with 4 skippers/ baby-sitters, or 4 boats with multiple skippers?

Hi All LSYC, FMV team and Briezh teams, we have seriously got get this sorted out, 17days to the start....It will fly past...I don't want to see the same confusion occur as at the start of the RdR.
If I could speak French, I would volunteer to do all the Liason, but I don't, So we need someone to help. otherwise Chaos will take over....
I have asked before, with no result.... Confused

My two cents:

Boat-sitting has always been acceptable to me when a skipper will not have internet/game access for an extended duration during a race (more than 12 hours).

These circumstances can arise to permit one to meet business/family responsibilities.

IMHO this facility should not be used to enter boats in a race wherein the skipper knows that she/he will be absent during most of the race prior to the start - this is a "crewed" boat!

I've just been thinking about this... I have a 24+hr sail coming up (real boat, not virtual boat) and need a little help... can I take you up on that offer Hallberg?
