Number of members above grade of Chief Petty Officer per club.

The clubs continue to grow, in number of clubs as well as number of members registered. Today we have 24 clubs with 10 or more members and 17 with 16 or more members above grade of Chief Petty Officer. The Club Trophy evolves in the same direction and henceforth it will be based on the total of the points from the 8 best members of each club. Keep on recruiting !

Manu,what do you mean by "keep the clubs alive".
If there is no ranking what is the need of the clubs?

Hallo Manu

thanks a lot for the creation and maintenance of the club rankings. as skipper of vanna indicates , it means a lot for Club to see their performance amongst others. For sure your work has contributed to enhance the Club feature in LS.

although there are other reasons for maintaining the clubs in LS, e.g. at this moment there is a real Flagship Sailing Race on-going in the Kiribati Race, there is also the special camaraderie amongst club-members that make it worth continuing clubs. And with time, we might come with other activities for clubs.

Fair winds and Happy Sailing.

@vanna

I agree with Ard :

- The clubs are a place for higher personal inter-personnal connexions, they make the game more friendly and human.
- Other actions may be organized such us the flagship races Philippe is now taking upon.

Now that most clubs members have a reference to their club in their pseudo, we now have a better visibility while sailing.

We could aslo request again LS to display club flag in the individual ranking pages.
