We need Volunteers. people who are useful with IT project management, programming,
execution and cross tasking. LS will supply guidance and tuition on the platform.

Target: delegation of race creation. Creative, programmed and delivered.

Result: 40% less workload and thus costing less for Team LS, more player input.

Done.

As said,
I am willing to assist in any race development, set-up(if this could be filling in a template and after some explanation/instructions.
I do not have programming knowledge in html5 or C, (used to do Algol60 and some Fortran Smile )

I just see a note from glenn in clubs that also he has some knowledge to help..

Hello,
As said by Eric/ethommerot, race creation doesn't need any programing skill.

There are no special skills needed in terms of race creation.
Just having a little imagination and creativity, then:
* Model race in Google Earth (we have a very well done tutorial that explains the whole process which could most certainly be given)
* Create the racing icon (we have a Photoshop template )
* Upload the icon on a server in a directory (vpn + FileZilla)
* Finally, we have a tool to upload and make it active.

I can tell you, I think, when simply explained, that anyone can do it.

Then an organization would have to be setup if it is done by X volunteer members i.e for example one in charge of FR, another of MR and another one of monthly races.

Another idea ... we have a lot of races to recycle. Modeled races X years ago that many do not know and could have fun with it. That could also be made available.

But first, we need BeTomorrow to reconsider their position ....

Rewriting the game (client and server side) to get rid of Flash and be cross-platform compatible (Android, Win, Apple, Linux, ...) is another story and a full development in itself.

I already pointed out that we have a large library of races going back years to draw on.
It's the re-write that is the major expense.
