ANNOUNCEMENT: ALTERNATIVE FRIDAY RACE (AFR)

A new AFR with Smile : FR-S19-20 Taiwan

Alternative Sailing Race with only 1 Xtra Mark XM#1 Very Happy,

START: Monday 4 February 2019, 1200 GMT sharp

RACE: We will use FR-S19-20

This weeks AFR is also an easy one, with just one Xtra Mark, towards the end of the race Smile.

- From the Start sail to and validate LS gate#1.

- Now, I leave some choices for you; either you validate LS gate#2 first and then circle the Xtra Mark XM#1, or you first circle the Xtra Mark XM#1 and then only validate LS gate#2 Smile

- sail to the Xtra Mark XM#1 and pass this keeping the Mark on your Port side.
coord: XM#1 N18°50'00" - E121°51'00" -

- Validate the AFR and LS Finish ;

Fair winds Smile

Notes:
- make sure to validate all Gates and the Finish in the official LiveSkipper FR on top of that the Gates and Marks of the AFR extra challenges.
- for newbies: make sure we, the ASailors, do know you are participating, best in this topic.
- we as Alternative Sailors will only sail the passionate way, so Passion category Boats are accepted only
-the image with coordinates, yellow lines/arrows are a guidance only, the typed coordinates under the image establish the exact location of marks and gates.
-tiny islands alongside large island are not considered to be part of the big island; you may sail in between unless specifically described not to.
-pixel jumping is allowed, it is even appreciated with a bonus of 10 minutes upon announcing or proof of the pixel-jump. Rolling Eyes You have to claim it yourself Exclamation
- dipping of an Extra Gate, or 'touch and go' of an Extra Gate, is allowed, provided you pass the gate-line; dipping of an Extra Mark is NOT allowed.
-take care for a starting time not ahead of the starting shot, for auto-start in on-going races see the wiki or tutorial.

Hi ASkippers

All but two Boats , Butter Fly and highnoon, all others have already validated LS gate#2; though highnoon did give it a try Rolling Eyes

Butter Fly has a nice advance and I think that his deroute to LS gate#2 does not let other boats come that close to pass.

lets see ,soon many boats will sail around the XM#1 and look for the finish
