Yesterday we finished successful 2nd in the ClubRace with our LSYC Flagship .

This was the result of a strong and intense team work of 4 LSYC members that together worked out the best course, and with the members in different timezones, could helm the LSYC Boat around the clock; thus not risking a grounding or un-foreseen windshift.

see our 24/7 LSYC Logbook. newest entries on top

These club races have become a regular event in LS, and LSYC is participating in mostly all these races. There are mostly 5-8 participants club boats, so you can keep an eye on the other boats and sail a strategic course to hold them at bay. The race are mostly the longer duration races and we start a week after the individual race

We would love to see some more LSYC skippers to help in our team, be it for part of the day, part of a week, part of a race for extra input and improvement of our results as well as for a joke here and there.

As we approach the start of the next Team Race " Team LS Championship- Boat
Etendard" on 2nd June...
LSYC stands in 1st place.
Yes one or two of probably the best teams have not entered this year it seems, and some have not entered the last race...but you can only sail against those who enter.

We came 2nd in the first race, 2nd race abandoned, and won the 3rd race...

Hope you guys are all rested. The next Club race starts this Sunday..
Sunday 23rd of June. the time of start yet to be made. The course is the Fast Race, and quite long, so we do need as many as possible to give crew members a break if possible.

Yes indeed. Maybe we should have a round the world ? Or something that will take 40 days ?
