There is something wrong with the game map or maybe is because is not with the North up like real nautical charts. Is not easy to sail like this, for example in Cook Strait.
I have to check it better but the map looks moved out of position.

Somebody found any error in the map game in the last days?

Suggestions to LiveSkipper programmers:

To put North Up.

Other thing... Happy New year to all for you!!!

I have been working all the night...... I start the year working... I hope the chance will change for me... Smile

What makes you think that the north is not up on the LS display ?
an example, a graphic demonstration by screen captures ?

Champaign effect: sure... but ...
Another effect ?
if you centre horizontally your display on meridian 180° (the famous one in LS !) and choose to zoom nothing (maximum towards "-")
The meridian lines, enhanced by the wind arrows appear to me like a flamenco dancer dress, decorated with diamonds.
We knew the orthogonal (ex: grib) and spherical (ex: Google Earth) representation of our brave Earth, LS uses the "flamenco hyperbolic" one ...

OLE !!!!!!! vamos a bailar ........

Champaign effect could be ... but I was on duty so...

For to see if north is up just put the boat to the north 000 or to south 180 for a while and the boat have to be vertical and perpendicular.

Also maybe the gnomos are moving the map from time to time....

I am going to stop smoking is very dangerous for sailing
