The Friday Races are short races held almost every week and starting on Friday. They usually last 24 to 48 hours, and Sailing distance usually less than 500 Nm.

The Friday Races are organized by seasons of 24 races. There are 2 seasons per year, with a two-week break in every season. Breaks are usually placed during the summer and year-end.

Each season of Friday Races has its ranking based on the results of the different races of that season.  A score is given based on the ranking of a boat in each Friday Race. The total Ranking for the Season is the summation of the best 18 scores of the 24 seasonal races. The Podium winners are announced in the News items of LiveSkipper.
